Mikayla Hoffman was born in Sheridan, Wyoming and sand moved to Smithville, Missouri for some years before coming to Fayetteville. She recieved a BFA in ceramics in 2016 from the University of Arkansas. Her works have been shown in a number of exhibitions, including the NCECA National Student Juried Exhibition in 2016, and was awarded a Black Apple Award in 2017 for her 3-dimensional work. She currently works at the Community Creative Center as a studio assistant and art instructor and is the director/curator at Lalaland Gallery.
